Sustainability Manager
A short introduction
The ideal candidate should have a thorough knowledge and understanding on sustainability concepts and practices to develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures / Working instructions for agricultural operations within estates located in Southern Region. The candidate should ensure that organization conducts its operations in an environmentally responsible and socially conscious manner. Also, the candidate should be able to mitigate negative environmental impacts of the operational activities and should work on related certification systems. Further He / She must review environmental sustainability performance in terms of standards, energy, carbon waste management, chemical management and related projects to improve overall sustainability performance.
Employment type (full-time/part-time) – Full Time
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Sustainability / Environmental Science / Business Management or from a relevant field
- 1 to 5 years of experience in sustainability management or a related role
- Strong knowledge on sustainability principles, environmental regulations and best practices
- Excellent project management and leadership skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders
- Proficiency in sustainability reporting frameworks and software
